This is a pretty rough sketch, but the concept is there. Had fun with this. Spent some time thinking of numerous ways there could be sunshine at midnight.

Given that it got my creative juices going, I have been warned this challenge will get mixed in another time.I also may take the sketch to a more final stage too.

Here is last weeks choice that came in at the last minute.

I have always adored creepy houses. Not fairy tale houses with frilly pinks and shiny windows. The dark, tall, daunting kingdoms of doom where the bad guys live. I realize that no matter how much I like that, when I draw them, it is still with a smile. It isn’t really creepy. But, I had a lot of fun making this piece. I guess my bad guys will always be like Duke Igthorn.

I have always liked drawing seahorses, they end up in a lot of my doodles. Recently someone said to me they think there should be more so, I have been making finished pieces of them.

What do you think? After the crazy idea throwing UStream with Dani-Draws this morning I am wondering what people have to say about my work. Critiques help our work grow but, being a freelancer we sometimes miss the thoughts of others. Therefore we reach out through blogs, twitter, and Ustream(it was great to see it be a successful critique tool today!). Hooray for Community.
